hi! i'm rami.

I am an incoming fourth-year Film & Television Production major at New York University’s Tisch School of The Arts, with a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology at the Stern School of Business. 

I was born and raised in the Chicago metropolitan area – specifically in Wilmette, Illinois – before moving to New York City at eighteen years old. During my time at NYU, I’ve directed and edited more than a dozen narrative and documentary short films, managing projects from concept and rig-crew recruiting through post-production, including sound design and color grading. I have also had experience as a camera operator, well as an editor, writer, key grip, gaffer, and even a screen actor. 

I currently serve as a video editor for WNYU 89.1’s STATIC magazine, where I edit artist performances and interviews for digital release, including works with Bolis Pupil, Eem Triplin, Cults and Ninajirachii. This role has shown me how visual content shapes an artist’s identity and audience connection.
